I messed with a couple of Lakeland blends early on. they were just too strong in the flavoring for me and I couldn't taste the tobacco. Later I adopted the ritual of getting a tin of Samuel Gawith Grousemoor for bird season...but in recent times it has become very difficult to find and I just smoke something that is on the current play list...
I was gifted a baggy of something that smelled like Lake region bath salts...I mixed in some blending Dark Fired Kentucky to tone down the "Essence" and it was ok...but not a taste I need to have in my rotation...but I am always appreciative of a gift, so I found a way to make it more enjoyable for me.
