Can I asked what happened? When a healthy young woman suffers a stroke or blood clots, my first thought is that this was caused by hormonal birth control (and so tragic, because it is avoidable). But 16 is so very young.

I'm guessing vax trauma.

Still praying. Don't care what caused it. She's too young and it weighs heavily.

Thank you for your prayers...She is still critical. I understand that it is a condition she inherited from her maternal side of the family. That is all I know as of this time...again thank you for your continued prayers

The latest info

The doctor stopped giving her the meds that were keeping her in a coma...they are waiting for her to come out of the coma in the next day or two. Your prayers for this young lady have been so important and appreciated and my grand daughter wanted me to tell you all "Thank You" from her and From Sophia's family.

You know, I wanted to ask but figured it's so very, very private that all we could do is pray and hope.

Which I'll continue to do. Poor thing.
