Surgery is Monday. I don't have the ability or inclination to post pics right now, but we awoke to a burst pipe in our kitchen flooding the basement below. The basement is (was) finished. All ceilings, wall, sheetrock, cabinets and floors are going to have to be torn out and replaced. The PRV valve to the house failed and we were running a water pressure over 110 psi. Probably a 40 to $60,000 repair to clean and fix all the damage. Insurance was frustrating. I called and they are closed until Monday. The answering service said someone would call "Maybe Monday or Tuesday".

By God's grace and provision, a plumber was able to get here in a couple of hours and stop the leak and repair so no FURTHER damage.

This is going to take months to fix. Next week was already going to be bad enough with a catheter in all week! Now I get to deal with this.

Prayers GENUINELY appreciated.

These are small and first world problems. I know many here have much worse and I am praying for you all as well. God is very big. He has capacity to answer ALL of our prayers. Thanks for lifting me and our family up and know that I am lifting yours as well.

Actually, flooding and prostate-as-big-as-yer-head are both fairly universal problems.
