Do any of you have duplicates of the same pipe?
I have an Upshall bent billiard that clinches easily. I try to rest pipes avoiding two days in a row (at least since I obtained more than one pipe years ago).
I had the passing thought that it might be cool to have a duplicate of that Upshall, even though I have a similarly sized Savinelli Trevi that smokes well.
I do have two Upshall straight billiards, but they are different sizes and grades.
Edit: Do you ever have a post idea that turns out to be much weaker than originally thought but you hate to delete it after typing it?

I have two matching Blatter & Blatter Canadians. One smokes really good and the other is a truly special cant do anything wrong pipe.
I have a few other repeated shapes, but in different finishes. Most are Pete's and all are comparable except for one pair of Peterson 68s. One is good and the other is more disappointing than finding out your kid wants to go to college at OU (I miss CodeMonkey).
Pipe rotation is completely random for me. Duplication does not factor in.

To answer the OP question. Nope...I do sometimes catch myself looking at a pipe and then remembering that I already have that pipe or one very simular...ie: A BBB Author that I saw on line, I have one in the pipe that I smoke after bird hunting, a Savinelli Bull Moose that I saw a good price on, then I thought you already have one, and a IR Black Knight...I have one, but see them on the auction and think..."maybe" then "no"
