I sat down in the smoking tent at the Chicago Pipe show. I believe it was 2016. A young black guy sat down next to me and we struck up a conversation. He was new to the hobby and had just bought a lovely olive wood pipe. He eventually made the comment that I look very much like Conor McGregor. I don't see it, but I was quick on my feet that day. I came right back with, " yeah white guys all look alike don't we?" We both got a good laugh out of it.
