There are times for folks to sit down and take a rest so that others can see a need (which can take a little while) and realize they can take a turn standing up and pitching in.

There are times for folks to sit down and take a rest so that others can see a need (which can take a little while) and realize they can take a turn standing up and pitching in.

We had a youth minister, who when he came, laid out his plan and asked the elders to help him recruit the people to fill the slots... He wanted the youth group leaders to also be the Sunday school teachers for their age group...big ask, but it provided consistancy and it was only 2 years...then a mandatory year off...giving someone else a chance to serve and you a chance to rest and maybe find an other area of service...it was great because the church was large enough to have enough bodies...
