Guns. That's what's happening.
Over the long weekend I visited a pawn / new gun shop I hadn't been to in a while. They had this for 650 and it's NC legal. I could conceal carry this thing.

Follow up. I was poking around at a new to me gun shop in Sanford and saw this that resulted in a compulsion lay away.

If you ever feel a need to go "BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!" and mess up a handful of bad guys (more if they are crowded together), you'll be ready.
What part of "HOC EST ENIM CORPUS MEUM" do you not understand?

My FIL has one of those.
I am not as cool as JimVH. Nor or you. Well, unless you ARE JimVH.

My new-ish dog walking rig. Heritage Arms Barkeep. Got the holster off ETSY and added the birdshead backstrap/grip and a .22 WMR cylinder from the factory (it came in .22LR and a traditional western grip).
This is not as highly refined as some other makers, but it's solid, tight, and made in the US at a very reasonable price. Good clean plinking fun.
