Did a search for trump in the thread. This was the only reference. I find that odd as I see the former President as the 800# Elephant in the room.

The Dems wait to see if he announces a 2024 run and then the indictments come.
Merrick Garland Names Special Counsel To Investigate Trump Over Classified Docs, J6
The move by Garland comes days after Trump announced his 2024 bid for U.S. president.

“The department of Justice has long recognized that in certain, extraordinary cases, it is in the public interest to appoint a special prosecutor to independently manage an investigation and prosecution,”
You called it. The level of corruption and abuse of power is appalling.

"Indictments" would require some real evidence of a prosecutable crime, in a just world. But in Soviet Amerika, this regime could fabricate charges if they want to.

Just because you can't see it doesn't mean it's not there - don't eat the shellfish.

toldja!

So the D's will do everything to keep Trump's name off the 2024 ballot. And the R's will do everything to make sure Biden's name is not on the ballot as well.

Harris v. DeSantis?

I dunno. Maybe we see some whole new options open up.

DC needs a good enema.

Wait. There's a swamp with many creatures that will never allow for a reboot.

It's way too early for armchair prognosticating. We just finished a painful election.

But who can resist, right?

It seems to me that it is the Democrats who do not want Biden to run, for obvious reasons. He's got a monster "L" written in liver spots on his forehead.

And Republican leadership do not want Trump to run. He's the only guy who could lose to Biden.

And they are both too damn old.

To be fair, Walker was a terrible candidate. Not the brightest bulb. I've never been terribly impressed with him. I think it's a miracle it was as close as it was. Lesson to be learned: if you want to beat communism, you have to give the people a better option than communism.
