JimVH wrote: 09 Nov 2022, 16:53 Paul, my former son in law, was just diagnosed with a rare, aggressive form of leukemia. The doc just prepared his sons for the potential that he only has a few days left. Paul is saved, but has a strained relationship with his boys. Please pray for healing at all levels.

Praise and prayer: Paul is still hanging in there. He's been through a series of chemo treatments and they are prepared to do a marrow transplant if that doesn't move things in the right direction. Doctors say the situation is still dire, but the extra time and improved alertness has helped him and his boys reconnect.

Jason, our middle son, went to the ER with difficulty breathing and they found a mass in his chest. He’s staying at a sober living facility in podunk Texas and is without insurance or access to care (we’re working on that).

Praise: Jason finally got into an indigent care program. He learned this morning that there is no evidence of a mass in his chest now and the follow-up imaging is clear. Also, in the last few days, the chest pain and SOB he was experiencing has subsided.

Rita continues to struggle with all the stuff Covid triggered back during the summer. She pretty miserable right now.

Praise and prayer: Rita goes in tomorrow for a pacemaker. The cardiologist feels that will remedy the worst of her cardiac issues. Then, December 22, the neuro surgeon is going into her neck to relieve some spinal cord compression he believes is causing the worst of her pain and movement problems. We are grateful that we are least getting some answers and moving forward with a plan.

On a praiseworthy note, we gained a new granddaughter this morning. Everyone is healthy.

Whoop whoop: The baby is still the most beautiful newborn in the history of the world.

Thanks folks.
Praise and prayer update in red.

I'm ever grateful to y'all.

Thank you so much for the updates Jim. I am continuing to pray for the leukemia to evaporate. A friend recently went through this and the BMT turned out to be the answer. I pray your son has this result.

For the missing mass in the chest. Just God. I am joining you in thanks and praise to Jesus!

For Rita, praying for sure. Melissa has Spinal Stenosis and has had that neck surgery twice. BOTH times it was a miracle! Not a repeat but a different section. I am praying that Rita's heart and pain are so much better that she becomes the GrandRita she was born to be!!!!

And of course, congratulations on the worlds most #1est baby in the history of the VH family and perhaps all of Texas! Which we know is actually bigger than the whole world anyway.

Praying on for you all Brother

We’re in the ER with my dad. Possible stroke and multiple other issues. I’d appreciate your prayers.
