praying still

Thanks for the update, Jim (which I am just now seeing). Praising the Lord for the steps in the right direction, praying for all that are still in need -- especially you, brother, in processing your father's decline.

My grandson just called. Paul is in ICU with sepsis and is in grave condition. He recently finished another round of treatments in hopes that it would improve his levels enough to qualify for a marrow transplant. It did not.

Paul is saved. He had been mostly estranged from his sons for a long time, but they were making progress the last couple of years. Paul's diagnosis and his oldest's recent wedding made for some accelerated healing in recent months. The boys are with him at the hospital right now.

They could all use our prayers.

Paul died late this afternoon. His boys were there with him.

I remain concerned about Steve and Jenna. The newlyweds have lost both their fathers within three weeks time and it’s weighing pretty heavy on them.

I appreciate y’all.
