"Good Jew/Bad Jew" narrative
I have no idea what you are talking about.
[…]
If yer just citing stats and not parroting the Trump schtick, then fine. Stick with that. Leave the coopting to Antisemites in yer midst.
I think that I heard that one. Trump pointed out that American Jews who vote for Kamala are voting against their own interests.... something like that. Something about "needing to have their heads examined." Specifically because Kamala is half-hearted in her support for Israel, world peace, and defeating terrorists. Not doing enough to sanction and control Iran, and not doing anything to protect American Jews on campuses and in their neighborhoods.
Okay, I'll agree that Trump has a way with words and a knack for stating the obvious.
But there aren't many people who take their information from what Trump says. It's more like Trump just says the things that most people of the Right are already thinking.
That's basically what populism is -- real democracy, where the elected leaders do what the people want them to do. It's the opposite of Ideology, where the elected leaders ignore the people and follow some theory of ideal society. Some theory in which everything works perfectly, except reality.

This is just what the polls are saying, and it conforms with a lot of personal experience.

Well, if yer now supporting the Trumpian schtick as "stating the obvious truth", then you're back on the Antisemitic side of the equation.
One must choose either citing stats with the pollsters or pushing the Good Jew/Bad Jew narrative with the Antisemites. One can't have both.

The Trumpian shtick is that Democrats are anti-Semitic. Deserves a grain of salt, but true enough in practice.
Democrats don't support Israel and Democrats hate people of faith, so American Jews get a double dose of Democrat Party ire and neglect.
The data indicate that devout, worshipping Evangelicals, Catholics, and Jews are voting overwhelmingly for Trump.
Republicans purge anti-Semites and bigots from their midst. Democrats coddle those who promote identity politics, and favor Moslems over Jews by a large degree.

It seems as though the Vatican-istas learned nothing from either the Cold War or the origins of World War Two.
I fear that's a poverty that's going to get a lot more people killed.
It is more a pity that we don't have JP2 to lead the Church right now.
The Democrats explicitly want to void the first amendment, so the government suppresses free speech under the ruse of protecting Americans from misinformation, as well as the second amendment because of gun violence. Such folly enabled tyrants to seize control of Lebanon, Iran, and Gaza and hold the civilian population hostage as human shields. That's the elephant in the room which Francis refuses to address.

I don't. JP2 was a great pope, and he still has a lot to say to us in the present.
But we got the exact pope we need right now. Indeed, a lot of people may die, but that's because of not listening to this pope.

Incoming "Border Czar" Tom Homan: "We'll give you Due Process at great taxpayer expense, but if, at the end of that Due Process, a federal judge orders you removed, you'll be removed."
Considering that the affordance of Due Process is precisely what's been put into question by MAGA, Homan's pledge seems surprising. Cuz if Homan follows-through with this pledge in good faith, the incoming Admin's Border Policy should broadly conform to the minimum Duties the USA owes to Migrants. I'm wondering if Church hierarchs or others with similar gravitas (Homan being Catholic) have intervened and informed Homan of the limits which he can't transgress in Catholic conscience.
OTOH, I'm also left wondering how Homan's pledge will play amongst ascendent Immigration Radicals, viz., the Stephen Millers and Steve Bannons influential in the incoming Admin and in the wider MAGA World.

Who have you been listening to? Trump and MAGA have always stood for seeing Due Process for asylum applicants.
The complaint is that millions of migrants have been allowed into the country without vetting, much less Due Process evaluation of their cases.
The "immigration radicals" are a fringe voice, and will be disregarded as such. No one will be denied Due Process.

Title: Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa launches program to help immigrants prepare for Trump deportation efforts
Source: Press Democrat

The Money-Quotes:
Rather than give in to despair, staff members in Catholic Charities’ legal services department quickly began putting together a plan to prepare immigrants, documented and undocumented, for what a Trump presidency could bring.
Starting Sunday at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Petaluma, Catholic Charities will be offering weekly “Know Your Rights” presentations throughout the North Bay. The hourlong sessions will provide “essential information” to the immigrant community on how to “protect individuals and their families, regardless of legal status, in case of detentions (or) U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids,” Holmes said in an email.
[…]
Those who attend will be given wallet-sized red cards, which refer to certain constitutional rights. The cards come in a dozen languages, including Spanish, and are provided by the Washington, D.C.-based Immigrant Legal Resource Center. The cards remind people that they need not open the door if an immigration agent is knocking, and that they have the right to remain silent, if an agent attempts to question them.
“Give this card to the agent,” it instructs. On the other side, the card states: “I do not wish to speak with you, answer your questions, or sign or hand you any documents based on my 5th Amendment rights under the United States Constitution.
“I do not give you permission to enter my home based on my 4th Amendment rights … unless you have a warrant to enter, signed by a judge or magistrate with my name on it that you slide under the door.”
Instructors will explain to attendees why it’s important to assert their rights, according to an outline provided by Holmes, and coach them on what to do in various situations, such as:
If you witness a raid/detention.
If you are at home during a raid/detention.
If you are arrested.
How to create a safety plan if detained.
