Shave Soap

Well, I have finally depleted my shave soap stash. Looks like the eBay seller I got it from years ago is no longer selling it on there so I need recommendations.
I like strong masculine scents paired with a soap specifically made for wet shaving.

I am inconsistent with the mug and brush, but when I do it's Grandpa's Pine Tar soap.

Ogallala Bay Rum Shave Soap

Made by a for-real guy in Ogallala, Nebraska.

I recommend the "Trail's End" fragrance. The sandalwood is naturally manly too.

I use Colonel Conk's- a few of the scents are available at my local grocery store and my pipe tobacco store carries a selection as well.

I like the Ogallala Bay Rum Shave Soap...but my wife does not. Her dad was a big bay rum user, to cover up the scent of cigs and booze. So when I smell like bay rum, she is just reminded of negatives.

So we found this when we were in Santa Fe a few years ago, and she like this, and its a good quality shave soap.

My wife doesn't like the original Bay Rum fragrance from Ogallala either. But she's okay with my favorites.

Since covid, I can't smell a damn thing. Mrs. Del gets the final decision on any scented product I use.
