I din't do nuthin', and now all-a-sudden, I got like 3 "Thanks".

The "thumbs up" button here acts as a 'thanks' rather than a 'like' like on that other social media platform. I think it's annoying and rarely use it.

Maybe we can get an 'unacknowledged' button. You know, like "I'm not listening, I can't hear you, la la la la la".

I use it as an all around "I agree" button. Usually as a 'like' a 'laugh' or a 'high five'. On occasion I've used it as a knowing nod, like, I get you bro.
