OFG Workbenches

Post about everything from carrying a handkerchief to manly skills (sharpening a pocket knife, etc), to product reviews of items that may have slipped inder our radar (ie Grandpa's Pine Tar soap). No threads on anything 'new' unless it hearkens to old-fashioned sensibilities and ideals.

OFG Workbenches

Post by FredS »

I always build a new workbench when I move. It's only been three times. I always use wood for the top.

Current bench. This was taken the day I built it and it's never looked the same.

Last bench - you can see burns from when I tack-welded on it a few times, no harm no foul.

I now use this one for welding - it folds up and hangs on the wall. Been playing around with gas welding lately (ignore that blow hole)
