For a Good Time...

The part of the forum where the silliest things happen. Conversations that sound like they belong here, will be moved here. Maybe.

For a Good Time...

Light bulbs went Krash Kringle this morning!

Then I clicked on the next page, and they are silent again. Something wrong with a driver or something. Just not worth fixing or worrying about.

Based on yer description, I get the same thing.

If so, nothing's wrong with the computer. Rather, it has something to do with how the page is loaded.
  • Example A: Starting-off from the New Posts page:
    • Refreshing the selfsame New Posts page — no matter how many times — silences the lights.
    • But clicking on the "New Posts" link in the pull-down menu keeps the lights a-soundin'.
  • Example B: Starting-off from Page 2 of the Theotokos Thread:
    • Refreshing the selfsame Page 2 of the Theotokos Thread — no matter how many times — silences the lights.
    • But clicking the "Page 1" icon will keep the lights crunching and, then, immediately clicking the "Page 2" icon will do the same.
Maybe dat'll help.

You have to check each bulb.

I am having fun taking them all out with one swipe left...once you have mastered that, increase difficulty by swapping the mouse out for a roller ball...

Further increase the difficulty by expanding the browser window to the width of the monitor and zooming-out the text to the max setting.

It is taking me 3 times as long to read CPS because each of those Christmas lights must be broken...on every single page...even the 2 hiding over there behind the Santa hat...

I can't hear the lights? Is there a toggle switch for sound somewhere? Do I need to believe, or something?
Have you checked the batteries in your hearing aids?
