Is there a way to hid text or images so only registered, and logged in, users can see it?

I've tried [hide] [/hide] but that doesn't seem to work. At least not if I log out and act like a visitor. Now that I think of it though, that might be because I need to clear my cache.

Hide BBcode is an extension that can be added to a PHPBB forum. It was installed on the old site, but is not presently installed on the new one. Remember: extensions can break stuff.
