HAVE A HEART! DRIVE SMART!

Yield to the bus. It's the law.

Colorado law requires drivers to yield to buses merging into traffic. Failure to yield is a traffic violation. Keep our operators, passengers, and your vehicle's occupants safe!

From "An Overview of Yield-to-Bus programs in Florida"
In the United States, seven states have passed laws requiring motorists to yield to buses attempting to merge back into trac, including Florida, Washington, Oregon, New Jersey, California, and Minnesota; Colorado recently passed a law to allow transit agencies to post LED yield signs on the backs of buses and require drivers to yield the right-of-way to transit buses entering traffic.

When I'm driving in Madison, I always let the bus merge in. It just seems like the right thing to do; I don't need a law to tell me.

But then again, I'm not from Madison.

I guess Democrats need laws to tell them how act, what their parents should have taught them.

My feelings are an open book. Or closet, as it may be.

My wife has met Del in the real world. She likes him enough I suppose, but love is too far for her. He was wearing a kilt at the time (seriously) and that turned her off.

You can tell Mrs. Fred that I have outgrown the kilt.

That's sure to impress her.

Out grown? How do you outgrow a kilt? How much weight have you put on?
