And I wanna say — before any nigglers might chime-in — that I thought it was da bomb. More than worthy of the Tolkien legacy.
Yer welcome.
"It is not enough to point the finger or attack those who do not think like us. That is a wretched tactic in today's political and cultural wars, but it cannot be the method of the Church."

I didn't watch it. I saw enough before it aired. Heard enough opinions about it from the cast and crew.
So when it came on I figured I'd wait it out. I knew I'd watch it just to hate watch it and that didn't sound like any sort of fun. Anyway, friends who aren't merely internet trolls confirmed my suspicions and provided me with enough to make me happy that I didn't waste my time.
I thought, from what I did see of it, that it was beautifully shot. Unfortunately, I found every scene that didn't include the Harfoots to be incredibly boring and just didn't complete the show. Which is 100% the reaction of my online D&D group.
At this point, the only fantasy series worth watching is The Legends of Vox Machina. Just... send the kids to bed first. I don't care if they're 50.

The new season comes out on the 20th.
Little Hovannes asked if he could watch it. We said, "no."
I am not as cool as JimVH. Nor or you. Well, unless you ARE JimVH.
