I tried to speak with Coco today, to check on his recovery. It seems that the surgery has mutated his vocal chords in some way that he no longer can speak as a human, but able only to produce sounds that are vaguely describable as various tones of adolescent opossum farts.

I know this all may seem too bizarre to believe, and though you may be tempted to contact Coco personally to verify this news, I must ask you to refrain. This is all very sad, and understandably Coco has taken it very hard. So, please don't try to contact him as the pain of such a predicament can only be made worse when he tries to converse with you only to hear faint marsupial toots emanating from his face hole.

Please, for the sake of Coco's pride, just take my word that this is all very much true.
