Things are getting rough out there and they're going to get worse. You've all been some variation of salt and light in my life, some saltier than others and others brighter than some, and I'm grateful for each one of you.
Hold fast and keep the faith. We've seen what happened when the wood was green and it is good and dry now and it's a dumpster fire outside our homes, but there are many more believers out there than let on and we're not alone.
May God bless you and keep you in the palm of His hand!

As these are the words of Christ from Luke 23:31, so much the more intensity. Look what the world did in the very presence of the Christ who created it, and marched Him to death on the cross of Calvary. In His absence how much more cruel will the world and the "Ruler of this world" be.
Aristotle said, "Tolerance and apathy are the last virtues of a dying society!" We are certainly there.
This said, we serve a RISEN savior!
Our eternity is SECURE in Christ and His power as we have NONE of our own.
ALL things work together for good to those who love God, who are the called according to His purpose! (Certainly this refers to our eternal good more so than our temporal good, but that is also so very often the case by His great mercy)
