The Texas Tornadoes were a supergroup before anyone even knew what that meant. The four guys on the front row are absolute legends. And that ACL show was probably the best ever.

The soft whirring of my 40+ year old refrigerator.

We've had two modern refrigerators in the time since we bought this used in the early 90s. Neither lasted more than a few years. This one sounds quite peaceful.

Listening to my family sleep in a hotel room in Clinton MS. We are on our way back from a Christmas visit to South Carolina.

Back in Texas today.

I am truly blessed.
