We came home Saturday, spent a peaceful Whitsun with the family, an easy Memorial Day get together (of course the baby was the star of the show), and now I'm back to work.

Momma is getting stronger every day. The drs weren't concerned about the fluid, believing it was something that will dissipate in time (vitals kept strong/improving, etc). He has an appt today, the normal follow up kind.

One thing about all of this, and I can't recall what I've already shared, but this was planned to be a home birth. But as we now know with the overtime in the womb and being breech leading to the C-section, turns out the little guy had the cord wrapped round his neck and was needed to be resuscitated in the OR. It was very brief, but in any other situation (like a natural breech birth) things would have been extremely dangerous.

We view it as God blowing up our plans so that Charles would have a safe delivery, and am thankful for your prayers that he was gracious to answer.
