I'll add my own prayers for the family as well.

And be mindful, oh Lord, of Thy servant Ron. Grant him rest in a place of brightness and repose, where all sickness, sadness, and sorrow have flown away, and where in the light of Thy countenance rejoiceth all Thy saints for all ages. For Thou art the resurrection and the life and to Thee we send up glory: to the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.

The family chose to go ahead with the wedding as scheduled. I thought they did a remarkable job of honoring the loss while still keeping things focused on the bride and groom. I don't know of a better way they could've handled it, given the circumstances and family culture.

As always, thanks for lifting them up.
