Asking for prayer for my current job situation.
I’m currently working two jobs, both were initially life preserver jobs I grabbed when I lost my job. My full time job is with a poorly organized company which has just moved me to a different dept which has decreased my already waning confidence in the company and has increased my desire to move on. I’ve been trying to find a way out, searching for and applying to jobs for a year now without any success.
My part time gig is at a local mom and pop pizza joint, and discussing my full time woes led to a discussion about possibly moving to full time at the pizza place. Of course the problem is I already have two jobs and were I to leave one, I would need to match or exceed my current income (which is still barely making it). So they’ll discuss such things with the owner and it sounded like there’s a possibility that they might make it work. I’m on pins and needles waiting to hear from them or begin a discussion.
If you would, please pray that I might be able to make the move! That the owner would find favor with me and find a way to bring me on full time in such a way that won’t negatively affect my income.

I admire you Rich. I talked with two people over the weekend who are jobless. They were -separately - bitching and moaning that they can't find work, when what they mean is they can't find work they like that pays what they think they're worth. You've kept on hustling, knowing the work wasn't ideal, but it was what you could get for the moment. Trust me when I say this - your kids are watching and learning. Chances are good they'll grow to be good adult humans.
