These exercises reportedly keep dementia and other dark forces at bay. Btw I also do the Daily Jumble, for tradition's sake. My dad did the Jumble faithfully, and so did the plant manager at a small plant where I worked in the 70s, fresh out of school. He'd come into the lab every morning with a cup of coffee, a Lucky Strike non filtered cig, and sit down with the morning Beaumont Enterprise and work the Jumble and crossword both in just a few minutes.
