OFG Bass Guitar

Post about everything from carrying a handkerchief to manly skills (sharpening a pocket knife, etc), to product reviews of items that may have slipped inder our radar (ie Grandpa's Pine Tar soap). No threads on anything 'new' unless it hearkens to old-fashioned sensibilities and ideals.

Nice collection! What strings do you like on the Fretless Jazz?

TI Jazz flats. They're silky smooth. However, I have been thinking of putting round wounds on it for more mwah.

I've thought about putting either the TI flats or maybe Optima RB flats (.45 - .100) on my Ric but honestly would like to hear them in person first..

Have you heard the Steve Harris Flats before? They dont sound like flatwounds, he also has new strings on before every single show.

I love your GL rigs as well as the Fenders!

I haven't heard of the Steve Harris flats. I read some reviews and it sounds like they are high tension.
