What Are You Up To

Gotta change the front brake pads on one of my cars. Been putting that off and driving the SUV. But now my son’s car body parts and undercarriage bits started coming off on the street. He needs to drive one of my cars until that gets fixed. Turns out that when I took his car into the shop to get the low beam HID headlights replaced (which requires removing body panels). The mechanic opted to zip tie some of them back on. So I need to deal with the shop manager about that today too. I’ve known him for years and he never did things like that before. I need to get to the bottom of this one.

Working...My first day back in the office since my wife had her surgery 6 weeks ago...I figured they would have my name plate changed out and move my things to the broom closet...but everything was still in the same state of mess in my office...so I guess I still have a job.

Watching Better Call Saul with my wife and baby Benny. Benny lost interest and fell asleep on mom.

Wow, that even frustrated me.

I was unprepared for lunch today and wound-up with a last resort package of beef flavored ramen noodles. I doctored it with a little peanut butter, a few shots of hot sauce, and a four crunched-up cashews I found in a ziplock in my desk drawer. It had a little Thai thing happening and was on the verge of tastings pretty good.

Now, as I sit here swelling up from the sodium, I'm wishing our culture valued the siesta.
