Meanwhile, I read that the 49s are slightly favored, yet all except 1 of the NYT experts are calling it KC. This should be a close game I think, but I'm giving the edge to KC. I mean, they have TS, for one thing, and everything she touches seems to turn to gold. Oh yeah, and their QB, he's good too. I wish we had him in Dallas, along with a few other KC players. Well, ok, lots of other KC players.

Every NFL game I've been to in the last 20 years has been a drunkfest that wasn't worth the price of admission. Even regular season games seem to get lost to the all-day party atmosphere. I can't even imagine how it is at the Super Bowl.

I'll be setting in my neighbors house for the game. He's also from KC and makes a mean BBQ pork butt. We lived 40 miles apart up 'till 7 years ago. Now we live 40 yards apart. Kinda weird.

Mrs FredS almost has her Irish nachos dialed in - one more test run this weekend - and will take that for the party. I'll provide some beer from our favorite KC brewery. I'm not sure if the retired doctor across the street will be there. He's from Buffalo.

Reminds me of my grandson's young wife.

Anyway I like the looks of Irish nachos, with sour cream and black olives, with a Lone Star beer.

Last year SB I was introduced to air fried brussel sprouts. They aren't too bad; definitely not as bad as they sound. Also was introduced to the rusty nail cocktail, which is good, but expensive.

10 -3 at halftime. Some folks are saying that KC has the 49s right where they want them. I'm not so sure about that. But without a couple of fumbles and dumb penalties, it'd be a different game right now. So far I haven't noticed that TS' boy friend has been much of a factor, but maybe I'm missing something.
