Rita was moved to skilled care today where they will begin building her stamina enough to start rehab. Pain management has improved a lot and she was cheery enough to get the nurses to cackle a couple of time. Joyous noise. We hope this phase is <two weeks.

I'm home in a bed, not a chair, with Boop at my side - first time in three weeks. I'm giddy.

Three days ago she could only stand with assistance. Today she got herself up and walked 100 steps. Progress in spite of other problems is a great development.

She still has dibilitating nausea and vomiting and we don't have a diagnosis yet. She really needs nutrition and struggles to get any down.
