Biden's State of the Union.... anyone watching it?

Standard stuff -- Biden is lying about his record, taking credit for stuff he didn't do, promising endless hope of free stuff, pledges to kill more babies, yada yada.

But I have to admit that I am surprised and impressed. Biden looks alert, sounds sharp, isn't losing his place. His eyes are scanning the crowd, not glued to notes or a teleprompter. I haven't seen him this alive and alert since Obama left office.

Biden just promised to "end cancer as we know it."

He'd have to ban hormonal birth control, if he wants to do that.

Speech just ended....

My overall assessment: It was a great campaign speech.

It is unfortunate for Joe that he was forced to deliver his best speech ever while standing in front of Kamala Harris. A vote for Joe is a vote for President Kamala.

Brit Hume said he sounded like an angry old man standing on his porch yelling at the kids to get off his lawn...

That was my assessment as well...and for about the last 15 min you could see he was getting tired and he started having some speach issues. But he held up to the end.

What was with him kissing the women? On the way in and on the way out... :o

I wasn't impressed, although he did manage to dial down his gaffs quite a bit.
I did feel that Biden, being late for his SOTU, was extremely disrespectful.
Biden's creepy whisper voice is still creepy.

The boulevard linking the White House to the Capitol was blocked by dozens of pro-Hamas protesters. Mostly young white kids, btw.

Were the young white kids considered insurrectionists, I wonder?

He's earned my vote!

By my back-of-the-envelope calculations, he's going to save me $30,000 in taxes and give me $40,000 in cash and incentives to buy a new electric car, build a windmill in my backyard, house some migrants, feed my kids, pay for my new knees, and send me to free college on the geezer plan.

Democrat did not send in jackboots to clear the way. And the Democrat media isn't calling it an insurrection.

So I'm thinking it was another mostly peaceful protest.
