I peruse the Bay on occasion and often see some decent buys. I rarely ever buy pipes anymore. If I do, they are very specific ones (I have a thing for above average cheap pipes). Anyway, I thought I would post my finds from time-to-time in case anyone else is interested.
I'll start it off with this one. Nothing phenomenal, but a decent purchase...I'd go so far as to say a little bargain. The half-bent billiard is pretty nice, IMO. Three pipes for 35 bucks.

Those look like a great bargain! Good find
I just got this from the deep end of the bay. It has some fills, but looks like it will be a good pipe. I may do some rusti-fi-cation to hide the fills...it had a $24 starting bid, I messaged the seller and offered $20...he accepted and paid the shipping

Do you see many Dunhill listings with a starting bid of $29?

Nope.
I’m fairness, I probably wouldn’t say anything if I did, though.

I would bet that stem will clean up. One of you should give that pipe a new "Forever Home"
Or this one...

If I was going to add a Dunhill to my collection, what year model or era should I be looking for? I've either heard or read that Dunhill had it's ups and downs.
I still remember the nice billiard in great shape on the used pipe wall of a shop near Nashville that I didn't buy, priced at $120 at that time. I was on a business trip at the time, but I almost contacted the shop later to check on it, but got sidetracked and never did call.

Tim...I don't know nothin' about Dunhill pipes. I snuck in the back door of the Dunhill name with a Parker and a Hardcastle...both are nice pipes, but just Dunhill seconds.
Seems like one of the members on the old site was into stockpiling Dunhills, but I can't remember who...
Was any of that helpful? Likely not...sorry

I have a few. Really old ones are better.
Also, just as an aside, Parkers and Hardcastles are not dunhill seconds. Sort of a Chrysler-Fiat relationship.
